MyCoupons® is committed to the fight against breast cancer and our Coupon Codes for a Cure™ Campaign will work to raise both money and awareness. Coupon Codes for a Cure extends beyond Breast Cancer Awareness month, October, and will further its ongoing commitment to contribute to this very important cause.
Each time a coupon code is redeemed at the on-line stores of our clients, MyCoupons will make a donation of $.10 to help in the fight against breast cancer. The coupon codes that are a part of this initiative can be easily identified by the pink ribbon next to the name of the store. Most, but not all, of these codes begin with an "MC". Place one of these coupon codes in the coupon code box at the store and get a great bargain while contributing to the fight against breast cancer.
Further, MyCoupons is committed to help educate our members about breast cancer prevention, screening, and treatment by providing an easily accessible resource library with educational information.
Why is MyCoupons making the commitment to breast cancer awareness? There is one very simple reason. Breast Cancer is a disease that will affect most of us in some way or another. The unfortunate reality is that someone in our life will be diagnosed with this disease. Fortunately with early detection and more effective treatment options, the survival rates for breast cancer are continuing to improve.
Personally, breast cancer has had a dramatic affect upon my own life. I lost a grandmother I dearly loved when I was a child. She passed away in her 50s, much too young to leave us. My sister and I missed sharing with her all of our major life events -- graduation, weddings, and the birth of our children. After over 25 years, I still miss her. I want to do my part to increase awareness and raise money for a cause that is so important to me as well as millions of others.
Join us in the fight against breast cancer -- if you are a woman, please learn about the importance of screening, if you are a man, encourage the women in your life to take the steps needed for early detection.
Sincerely,
Greg Stoltz
